Statistics deals with data analysis. Applying statistics, a set of data is classified, arranged, interpreted, and organized. It also deals surveys, experiments and all other scientific and societal problems like population. 1. Mean $\bar{x}$ = $\frac{x_{i}}{n}$
2. Median
When n is odd,
M = $\left ( \frac{n+1}{2} \right )^{th}$ term.

When n is even,
M = $\frac{\left ( \frac{n}{2} \right )^{th}term + \left ( \frac{n}{2} + 1\right )^{th}term }{2}$.
3. Mode  Value that is frequent in the set of data.
4. Variance  $\sigma ^2$ = $\frac{\sum (x_{i}-\bar{x})^2}{n}$.
5. Standard Deviation   $\sigma$ = $\sqrt{\frac{\sum (x_{i}-\bar{x})^2}{n}}$.

Where, $x_{i}$ = Set of data,
n = total number of data,
$\bar{x}$ = Mean.
